The recent interview with Mariposita has confirmed how she created her solo and the lyrics.

Interviewer: What inspired you to create your solo?
Mariposita: Mariquita was my main inspiration on my musical journey. During our practice sessions, where we focused on vocals and singing techniques, she always had a special way of motivating me. I remember one day, while we were rehearsing, she suggested I do a solo. That recommendation was a turning point for me, as I realized I had many creative ideas and melodies in my head that I was eager to explore.
Interviewer: What did you create "Knot"? What does it symbolize for you?
Mariposita: "Knot" is about not letting criticism affect you like a knot that can't be cut. It's a song about self-confidence, which I enjoyed creating. It symbolizes freedom and also resilience.
Interviewer: What was the process of creating KNOT like?
Mariposita: I made more than six different demos. I wanted a beachy, ocean vibe for this kind of song. First, I thought about electronic music, then pop, then I settled on a chord progression and knew what to do. I changed the lyrics many times; the only thing I didn't change was the chorus, "K-N-O-T."
Interviewer: Did Gusanito or Mariquita help make KNOT?
Mariposita: Yes, in fact, Mariquita helped with the lyrics. She gave me her opinion and support; she was my main guide for my solo. Gusanito participated in the recording of the KNOT music video.
Interviewer: What did you want to reflect in the music video?
Mariposita: I wanted to reflect confidence and how people support you in achieving your goals, and how you support them, like singing freely at the end and being heard. It's a demonstration of freedom in the music video.
